6 Double SIGNED Silkscreens by Andrea Kantrowitz - Watsonville Cannery Strike
The prints were done as a series in support of the Watsonville Cannery Strike (1985-7), in California, where the workers struck and ultimately won. The workers were primarily Mexican American Women and Mexican immigrant women.

The prints are about 14 x 18 and silkscreened
Signed in the lower right corner by the artist (plate signed)
The workers were a part of the Teamsters Union (Local 912). The artist did sketching at the strike site and then converted the sketches into a series of 6 silkscreens to raise funds for the striking people in the mid-eighties.
